One
year ago my doctor's nurse called me after my first
bone density test with the shocking and depressing
news that I had osteoporosis with a score of -3.14.
Her advice was to up my calcium intake of course, and
prescribed Fosamax. She said to ask the pharmacist
which calcium was better. Well I had taken about every
kind of calcium supplement on the shelf and I felt
like it was all for nothing since they hadn't
protected me from that lousy score. And after reading
the list of side effects of Fosamax I wasn't too
thrilled about swallowing that pill either. But I did
for one month and it was painfully irritating on my
esophagus.
After
some research on the net, I found EZorb. Their claims
sounded too good to be true, but the more I read about
it the more I thought, why not? I liked reading about
the no nasty side effects like upset stomach or kidney
stones. So I listened to the little voice inside me
and tossed the Fosamax and put myself on EZorb.
My
last bone density test showed an amazing improvement
from a -3.14 to -2.65! I was so excited! The
radiologist was pretty amazed at my scores and asked
me which prescription I was taking as most of them
only show a couple percents worth of improvement at
best. You can bet I told her all about EZorb!
Thanks
so much for a wonderful product and giving me one less
thing to worry about in my life!

Hello,
I
was surfing the net and came upon EZorb
Calcium. I
decided to order it. I just received it yesterday and
took one teaspoon. I immediately felt better. I suffer
from fibromyalgia but for some reason I could feel my
muscles relax the minute I took the calcium.
Today
I took another teaspoon and again I could feel my pain
lessening and the muscles relax. I'm excited about
this because I have been in pain for years from an
accident and fibromyalgia. Today I feel hope where I
didn't think there was any...........thank you!

After
2 years of pain with plantar faschiitis and
heel spurs
I can now work during the day and still enjoy a stroll
in the evening or even a game of golf. My handicap has
even come down to 7 and I can enjoy my game without
worrying how many holes I will be able to play before
the pain starts. Thanks EZorb

Stem Cells Research News: Congenital Defect Repaired
Disclaimer:
Elixir Industry is not engaged in any type of research
that involves the use of human embryos. This article
is provided here solely for your information.
Researchers
have successfully used stem cells to correct
congenital heart defects in mouse embryos, it is
reported in the latest issue of Science.
The
team from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Center in New
York said that injecting stem cells into female mice
carrying embryos that had been engineered to develop a
lethal defect half way through gestation appeared to
change the fate of the unborn animals.
"The
result was that 50% of the mice fated to die in the
womb were born with healthy hearts," said lead
researcher Dr Robert Benezra.
Previously,
the scientists discovered that a protein called Id was
vital for the normal development of capillaries and
blood vessels during embryonic growth and that
removing, or knocking out, the gene that encodes this
protein generated a deadly genetic profile.
When
mice carrying embryos lacking Id were injected with
embryonic stem cells, the team noted that normal
cardiac cells were generated and incorporated into the
defective heart. Moreover, these cells appeared to
protect neighboring heart cells from becoming
defective by releasing biological factors into the
nearby area.
Fellow
researcher Dr Diego Fraidenraich commented: "In
this current study, with the repair of congenital
heart defects in our Id knock-out embryos, we observed
that the stem cells provided normal signals to
themselves and also to their neighbors to correct the
organ as a whole."
Stem
cells also appear to be reliant on the Id protein, say
the researchers. They found that reducing stem cell Id
content by 15% to 20% impaired the success of the
cells' ability to correct the congenital effect.
The
investigators believe they have also identified two
proteins vital for the successful outcome of the stem
cells on the Id deficient embryos. They say that
insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1 can cross the
placenta to exert its effect, while WNT5a will only
effect the cardiac cells if it is injected directly
into the embryo.
Specifically,
they discovered that injecting pregnant mice with
IGF-1 partially rescued the embryos' cardiac problems,
with pups being born but only living for two days.
Providing embryos with WNT5a, however, corrected the
abnormal genetic profiles of the pups.
The
prospect of using stem cells to correct such defects
in humans is, however, a long way off, says Dr Anthony
Mathur, a cardiologist from Barts and the London NHS
Trust, who is currently researching the potential use
of stem cells.
Nevertheless,
he did say that the research would add to current
knowledge about how the heart repaired defects.
"Other
work has suggested embryonic stem cells are probably
going to be the best type to use to try to repair
damaged organs," commented Dr Mathur.
"But
their use presents massive issues which need to be
overcome."
