Hello,
A
year ago I had a bone scan for the first time and my
score was -2.25. My doctor immediately gave me a
prescription for Actonel. I have never been a big
believer in prescription drugs. I take them only when
absolutely necessary. I started doing research on the
internet and found EZorb
and decided to try it for a
year. My doctor was furious at me and still is to this
day. However, my recent test shows a score of -1.7. I
am obviously very happy with the results and will
continue taking Ezorb. And, I think I'll look for a
new doctor!

Hi,

Research Digest: Green Tea May Reduce Cancer Risk
Some
people may reduce their risk of cancer by drinking
green tea, say US researchers who found that a
chemical in the drink boosts levels of cancer-fighting
enzymes.
Several
studies have shown that people who regularly drink
green tea, which is popular in China and Japan, have a
reduced risk of developing certain types of cancer,
including prostate cancer, explain Dr Sherry Chow,
from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and
colleagues.
To
investigate whether green tea has cancer-fighting
properties, the team studied 42 healthy volunteers who
were asked not to drink any tea for a 'washout period'
of 4 weeks.
The
participants were then assigned to take supplements
containing a substance found in green tea, called
polyphenon E, every day for another 4 weeks.
The
researchers found that the polyphenon E supplements
boosted the participants' levels of an enzyme called
glutathione S-transferase, which helps rid the body of
toxins that can cause cancer.
This
beneficial effect was particularly evident in people
who initially had low levels of this enzyme because of
their genetic make-up.
"This
is the first clinical study to show proof that
chemicals in green tea can increase detoxification
enzymes in humans," said Dr Chow.
She
added: "Green tea catechins somehow increase gene
expression of these enzymes, which can be an advantage
to people with low levels to start with."
