I
am 77 years old and was diagnosed with osteoporosis,
(2.5) five years ago. At the time the doctor
recommended fosamax, but the side affects were huge.
Needless to say I refused it. Gradually I found it
painful to sleep on either my left or right sides
without incurring hip pain.
Last
June I fractured my ankle and as it was slow to heal I
surfed the internet and came across eZorb
calcium. I
began taking it in September, double dose, and my
ankle was healed in two months. Also I can now sleep
on either side. Another bonus is that my periodontal
disease is almost non-existent now. I now take the
recommended dose.
In
February I had another bone density test and the score
was 2.2 which means I have osteopenia, a precurser to
osteoporosis. My doctor is getting interested, and
wants me to have another bone density test in one
year.
I
am continuing with the eZorb indefinitely and talking
about it to anyone who will listen.

I
just have to share my excitement over the improvements
I've made since taking Ezorb 10 weeks ago. I have
suffered from fybromyalgia and an undifferentiated
connective tissue disease for over 10 years. Since
taking Ezorb, I have been able to discontinue taking
all anti-inflammatories including Vioxx, Celebrex,
Naproxen and others I've used for pain. I recently
discontinued taking Celexa, 10 mg., which is an
anti-depressant I was prescribed not for depression,
but rather as additional pain control medication.
I
am absolutely thrilled with the improvements that I've
noticed since taking Ezorb including greatly reduced
pain in my joints, muscles, and connective tissue, a
marked increase in energy and stamina, sharper vision,
stronger nails, and a greater sense of well-being and
optimism. My mother has osteoporosis and has started
taking Ezorb. I look forward to seeing the results of
her next bone scan to see what Ezorb can do for her.

I
was diagnosed with a heel spur in my right foot,
unable to walk without use of crutches, and in extreme
pain my foot specialist gave me cortisone shots and
prescribed mussel relaxers, and had special shoe
inserts made for me. Although these helped temporary I
still could feel the pain coming back on numerous
occasions but after religiously keeping with your
recommendations of 1-3 servings of the powdered EZorb
I have not felt any reoccurring pains on my right
foot. Thank You for all your research to put a product
out to the public that can do so much.

Research News: Green Tea May Protect Against Cancer
A chemical found in
green tea could form the basis for a new class of
anti-cancer drugs, say researchers after finding that
the naturally occurring polyphenol, called
epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), inhibits the growth
of cancer cells.
Writing in the
journal Cancer Research, the researchers, led by
Professor Roger Thorneley from the John Innes Center
in Norwich, UK, explain that previous studies have
suggested that green tea may protect against the
development of cancer.
In the latest study,
the team, in conjunction with researchers from the
University of Murcia in Spain, found that EGCG binds
to a key enzyme called dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR)
- the target of a number of current cancer-fighting
drugs - inhibiting the enzyme's ability to manufacture
new DNA in cancer cells.
Furthermore, the
required cancer-inhibiting concentrations of EGCG were
similar to those found in the blood of people who
typically consume two or three cups of green tea each
day.
"We have
identified the enzyme in tumor cells that EGCG targets
and understand how it stops this enzyme from making
DNA," said Professor Thorneley. "This means
we may be able to develop new anti-cancer drugs based
on the structure of the EGCG molecule."
However, the research
team says that EGCG may cause significant reductions
in body levels of folic acid. They therefore caution
against pregnant women drinking large quantities of
green tea as maternal folic acid deficiencies are
linked to birth defects such as spina bifida.
