Dear Friends:

My mother, Virginia, who will be 91 in July is ordinarily a very outgoing person, a quick wit, and fun to be with. All of a sudden, she started having terrible pain her in her back and hip and she was having to use a walker to even move, which she didn't do much of as she was in so much pain. The doctor had told her that she had a bone spur in her hip and nothing could be done for her; that it would only get worse. That's when I got on the internet and started looking.

I found your internet site and was very impressed by the testimonials of people who had been helped by EZorb. So, after emailing you and finding out from you that you thought it would help her, I ordered some for her. That was the 24th of April. She has been taking it faithfully (3 times a day) ever since we received the EZorb in the mail. By the time the 3rd week had rolled around, she was beginning to dress herself and get in and out of the bathtub (neither of which she could do). Each day, it seemed that she was getting better and she began to live for something besides the pain medication she was taking. Presently, she is occasionally taking 1/2 of a darvocet. She can't stand for any length of time, but she is walking fairly confidently without the walker.

We can't thank you enough for making this product available. We are praising God for leading us to you and for the help you have given us. Many times, one cannot believe the claims that are found on the internet. Thank you for representing a product that isn't a scam.

With a grateful heart, J.A.F.

P.S. I hope you don't mind. I can't tell you how many people I have given your internet site to. You should have some new business because of what has happened to my mother.

Where do i begin in telling you about my journey with fibromyalgia? I feel like i have been to hell and back.

I believe it all started after the death of my two daughters. Not long after that i fell at work. I started having lots of pain. First i went the pain killer route. Then began physiotherapy for 5 years. In the mean time i seen a specialist who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and promptly gave me cortisone shots. Needless to say this didn't help. I went to working only part time. It didn't help so I quit my job and stayed home.

Not long after that my husband was diagnosed with leukaemia. I stayed home and looked after him for 14 years. The last 3 years were awful. A side effect of his leukaemia was skin cancer. We went through chemotherapy and radiation. I had to push him around in a wheelchair and looked after him until the last week when i had to put him in the hospital. He passed away on May 01, 2003. I was lucky that i could take time off this last year and recuperate. I had to go back to work. I thought .can my body handle it.

I went on the Internet and looked up fibromyalgia. I found EZorb on the website. I thought what the heck i have tried everything else so i thought i have nothing to lose by ordering it. I took the pills one night and the next morning I didn't have the stiffness that i always do. I had gone to the chiropractor the last three days before i started the product.4 days later and i haven't had a headache since. What a relief. I have more energy than ever and i feel like i have been giving a new lease on life. I can't thank you enough for your wonderful product. It feels good to join the human race again.

Thank you

2. New Finding: Knee OA Associated with High Vitamin C Supplements

Preliminary study findings suggest the continuous use of high doses of vitamin C should be avoided because of an increased risk of osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee.

Previously, short-term animal studies and human epidemiologic data have indicated that vitamin C may be protective against OA, but the effect of reactive oxygen species in cartilage degradation is unknown, Virginia Kraus and co-workers of Duke University Medical Center observe.

To investigate further, the team determined the impact of low, medium, and high doses of vitamin C on the development of histologic knee OA in Hartley guinea pigs - a species that develops spontaneous knee OA similar to that found in humans.

The low dose of vitamin C was the minimum required to avoid scurvy in the animals, the medium dose was that found in standard guinea pig food preparations (equivalent to the recommended 200 mg/day in humans), and the high dose was previously reported to slow progression of surgically-induced OA.

Contrary to the earlier findings, however, increasing vitamin C dose was associated with worsening of total histologic score of spontaneous OA of the knees.

When guinea pig cartilage was stained for expression of active transforming growth factor ? the cytokine was found in osteophytes, whose size and numbers increased significantly with vitamin C dose.

Vitamin C dose was also associated with measurements of joint tissue turnover in synovial fluid.

Commenting on their findings in the journal Arthritis and Rheumatism, Kraus et al say: "This study highlights the potential drawbacks of long-term, high-dose vitamin C intake on joint health, suggesting that dietary intake should not be supplemented above the currently recommended dietary allowance (90 mg/day for men, and 75 mg/day for women."
