Letter I: From Bonnie

Received at Testimonial Submit Form on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 at 17:15:23

(Unedited)

Hi, my name is Bonnie. I have just started taking Ezorb for osteoporosis and knee issues and am starting to feel a real difference.

In just a week's time I don't have as much discomfort in climbing the stairs and I don't have all my usual aches and pains! I have been very impressed so far and I am only taking 4 capsules per day!!

For my cat: I accidentally shut my siamese cat's tail in the door and he had to have $600 surgery to repair his tail - poor little guy and $$ ouch to me too! After the surgery the vet sent him home with 2 bottles of pain relievers and after giving him a couple doses I was concerned as it seemed he wasn't breathing correctly.

So instead I decided to try giving him one Ezorb daily mixed in some yogurt. Watching him closely to see if maybe he still needed the pain meds he seemed to be doing fine and I truly believe it helped his pain and healing.

Upon returning to the vet 4 days after his surgery she was amazed that his tail was "remarkably" healing up so quickly. I believe this is due to the Ezorb.

Thank you for making such a wonderful product. You're helping so many people (and pets) live healthier and happier lives!

Letter II: From Mary Peterson, Ohio

Hi, my name is Mary Peterson, Ohio.

I had a bone density test done about 2 years ago and the results were not all that favorable. I began taking Ezorb at that time and on 2/8/12, I had another bone density test done and the results were incredible and my bone mass increased.

My doctor wanted to know what I had been taking, because he was VERY impressed with my results. He and my family doctor will be contacting the EZORB company to find out how they can go about carrying this product for their other patients.

My doctor said he's never seen anything like this product where it will increase bone mass without causing horrible side effects. He said he will not even prescribe Fosamax, Boniva, etc., because of all the side effects.

I also had horrible joint pain and some fibromyalgia. I take 3 capsules every night before going to bed and the pain has deceased tremendously and I can actually sleep at night now. Ezorb has been a God-send to me and one product I will not be without.

Letter III: From Connie, from Arizona

Hi, my name is CONNIE.

I just returned from a visit with my family in Florida. While visiting, I noticed my back pain was pretty severe from the airplane ride from Arizona. Then I noticed I had forgotten my Ezorb Calcium tablets. It take 4 per day and the 10 days I was gone, I really noticed the difference.

Needless to say, my back hurt the entire trip so when I got back home, I started back on the tablets. Hopefully I don't forget them again. They really do work.

Connie from Arizona.

Letter IV: From Mary Pritchett

Hi, my name is Mary Pritchett. I am a long time Ezorb customer. I have been taking Marvlix off and on, and lately steadily 4 capsules per day for about 3 months.

My doctor says I have moderate kidney disease. I just had new blood test result which shows a great improvement in the functioning of my kidneys.

CREATININE RATE (GFR) GLOMERULAR FILTRATION
9/29/2011 1.0 55-NB
12/19/2011 0.8 71-NB

A GFR under 60 mL/min/1.73 mA² may indicate kidney disease the lower the GFR number, the worse the kidney function.

I am 68 years old and my health is improving! Thank you so much.

2. Research News: High Vitamin D Levels Increase Skin Cancer Risk in Women

High levels of plasma vitamin D are associated with an increased risk for squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and basal cell carcinoma (BCC) in women, report researchers.

Jiali Han (Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA) and colleagues say that this link is likely to reflect the positive association between sun exposure and skin cancer risk, as a large percentage of circulating vitamin D present in the body is acquired through sun exposure.

The team prospectively assessed levels of plasma vitamin D at baseline (1989-1990) and their association with risk for SCC and BCC over the follow-up period (until 2007-2008) in 4641 middle-aged women participating in the Nurses' Health Study (NHS) and NHS II.

In total, 510 incident cases of BCC and 75 incident SCC cases were recorded over the follow-up period.

Han et al found that women in the highest quartile of plasma vitamin D (>34.2 ng/mL for NHS; >31.4 ng/mL NHS II) had a significant 2.07-fold increased risk for BCC compared with women in the lowest quartile (≤20.4 ng/mL NHS; ≤19.6 ng/mL NHS II). This association remained valid after adjusting for baseline age and season, lab batch, burning tendency, hair color, number of sunburns, and ultraviolet (UV)B flux of residence at blood collection.

However, the association with vitamin D level was most apparent in women who had blood collected outside the summer season, in those from areas with less UVB flux, and in light-pigmented women.

There was also a significant positive association between plasma vitamin D level and SCC risk after adjustment for the same confounders, with women in the top quartile for vitamin D having a 3.77-fold increased risk for SCC compared with those in the bottom quartile.

"Considering that most circulating vitamin D is due to sun exposure, the positive association between plasma vitamin D and non-melanoma skin cancer is confounded by sun exposure," say Han and team.

This "suggests that UV exposure may have a predominant adverse influence that exceeds any putative benefit from the higher levels of vitamin D," they add.

Concluding in PLoS ONE, Han and co-authors say: "Our results suggest that one-time measurement of plasma vitamin D may reasonably reflect long-term sun exposure and predict the risk of non-melanoma skin cancer."

Original research was published in PLoS ONE 2012; 7: e35211.
